Talented comic magician Mac King got his start doing shows for his friends and family as a kid. He spent his summer vacations from college performing in a two-person magic act with fellow Kentucky magician Lance Burton at a western-themed park in Cumberland Falls, Ky. Mac graduated from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minn. with a degree in anthropology, and took his show on the road, eventually headlining all the major comedy clubs in America.

King moved to Los Angeles in 1987, where his amazing visual style of magic and offbeat, but decidedly friendly approach to comedy eventually caught the eye of the producers of all the popular '80s stand-up comedy TV shows like An Evening at the Improv and Comic Strip Live.

King has made numerous TV appearances on such shows as Houdini: Unlocking His Secrets, The World's Wildest Magic, An Evening at the Improv, Comic Strip Live, Penn & Teller's Sin City Spectacular, and most recently, the Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus show starring Cybill Sheppard. King has the distinction of being the only performer to have appeared on all five of NBC's World's Greatest Magic shows.
